Aku yang dulu bukanlah yang sekarang
Dulu ditendang sekarang ku disayang
Dulu dulu dulu ku menderita
Sekarang aku bahagia
Dulu ditendang sekarang ku disayang
Dulu dulu dulu ku menderita
Sekarang aku bahagia
Cita cita ku menjadi orang kaya
Dulu ku susah sekarang alhamdulillah
Bersyukurlah pada yang maha kuasa
Memberi jalan untuku semua
Dulu ku susah sekarang alhamdulillah
Bersyukurlah pada yang maha kuasa
Memberi jalan untuku semua
Hidupku dulunya seorang pengamen
Pulang malam selalu bawa uang recehan
Mengejar cita cita paling mulia
Membantu keluarga dirumah
Pulang malam selalu bawa uang recehan
Mengejar cita cita paling mulia
Membantu keluarga dirumah
Sekolah dulu ku gak punya biaya
Terpaksa kuharus mencari nafkah
Tetapi aku tak berputus asa
Pasti yang kuasa memberi jalannya
Terpaksa kuharus mencari nafkah
Tetapi aku tak berputus asa
Pasti yang kuasa memberi jalannya
Pulang malam selalu bawa uang recehan
Mengejar cita cita paling mulia
Bersyukur masuk dapur rekaman
Hidupku dulunya seorang pengamen
Pulang malam selalu bawa uang recehan
Mengejar cita cita paling mulia
Bersyukur masuk dapur rekaman
Pulang malam selalu bawa uang recehan
Mengejar cita cita paling mulia
Bersyukur masuk dapur rekaman
Sekolah dulu aku gak punya biaya
Terpaksa kuharus mencari nafkah
Paling bisa bantu dengan penuh cinta
Cinta yang penuh warna
Terpaksa kuharus mencari nafkah
Paling bisa bantu dengan penuh cinta
Cinta yang penuh warna

Windows Phone jumps to third place in smartphone market
Microsoft's mobile OS surpassed BlackBerry in smartphone shipments and market share during the first quarter of 2013, says IDC.
Microsoft's Windows Phone grabbed third place from BlackBerry in global smartphone shipments in the first quarter, market researcher IDC said Thursday.
Windows Phone accounted for shipments of 7 million smartphones, earning itself a market share of 3.2 percent last quarter. That was a gain from the first quarter of 2012, which saw shipments of 3 million and a market share of 2 percent.
Over the same period, BlackBerry saw its fortunes fall. Last quarter, shipments fell to 6.3 million from 9.7 million in the year-ago quarter, while BlackBerry's market share dropped to 2.9 percent from 6.4 percent.
Windows Phone posted the largest gain among all operating systems, a feat largely due to Nokia, IDC said in its report. The Finnish phone maker was responsible for 70 percent of all Windows Phone shipments last quarter. Since partnering with Microsoft, Nokia has shipped a total of 20.3 million Windows Phone handsets. Other vendors also offer Windows Phone devices but mostly as an alternative to their mainstay Android phones.
"Windows Phone claiming the third spot is a first and helps validate the direction taken by Microsoft and key partner Nokia," IDC analyst Kevin Restivo said in a statement. "Given the relatively low volume generated, the Windows Phone camp will need to show further gains to solidify its status as an alterative to Android or iOS."
Despite the boost for Windows Phone, Google's Android and Apple iOS operating systems still completely dominate the smartphone landscape.
Android phones saw shipments of 162.1 million last quarter, up from 90.3 million for the prior year's quarter. Market share climbed to 75 percent from 59.1 percent.
Apple shipped 37.4 million iPhones in the first quarter, up from 35.1 million, though its slice of the market dropped to 17.3 percent from 23 percent.
"Underpinning the worldwide smartphone market is the constantly shifting operating system landscape," IDC research manager Ramon Llamas said in a statement. "Android and iOS accounted for more than the lion's share of smartphones in the first quarter, but a closer examination of the other platforms reveals turnaround and demand for alternatives. Windows Phone has benefited from Nokia's participation, and BlackBerry's new BB10 devices have already hit a million units shipped in its first quarter of availability."

Samsung looking to update Galaxy S4 to free up more storage space for users
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is one of the hottest Android handsets this year, but the fact that its most popular 16GB version actually turned out to only comes with around 8GB of free storage space for end users was a disappointment. After a huge outrage from the community, and after its initial hard-headed reaction, Samsung seems to have made a 180 turn on the issue. The Korean company first said that users complaints are worthless and they should just go and get an expansion microSD card.
Now, the company is starting to change its mind about the problem with less than expected user available memory:
"We appreciate this issue being raised and we will improve our communications," Samsung spokesperson said for CNET UK. "Also, we are reviewing the possibility to secure more memory space through further software optimisation.
"Samsung is committed to listening to our customers and responding to their needs as part of our innovation process."
The dramatic lack of storage space comes from the much heavier TouchWiz interface that comes with the Galaxy S4. Many users point out that Samsung has introduced a ton of new features like gestures and eye detection that not a lot of people would use. Yet those exact features take up a lot of the internal storage on the device.
It is also true, though, that Samsung is the only company of the big ones that releases its flagship with a microSD card expansion slot. Apple and HTC for instance do not support expandable storage.

But at yesterday's Google keynote at the Google I / O was the Samsung GALAXY S 4 Google Edition release!
The Samsung GALAXY S 4 Google Edition is a Samsung GALAXY S 4, which comes with pure Android. Neither the equipment nor the design of the Samsung GALAXY S 4 Google Edition have changed from the "normal" model. Even the microSD slot survived! The Samsung GALAXY S 4 Google Edition is even officially sold through the Google Play. But once nu in the United States for the price of 649 dollars.
The Samsung GALAXY S 4 Google probably sit Edition THE surprise of the Google I / O. Even so did not expect industry insiders. The only downside would be the price of $ 649, this corresponds exactly to the price of the "normal" Samsung GALAXY S 4. However, this model will be virtually as a Nexus Device, New Android updates will also get the Samsung GALAXY S 4 Google Edition immediately.
Now it will take for the Samsung GALAXY S 4 Google Edition Release not be long before custom ROM's will appear on the basis of this model. And then users of the flagship could be benefiting from pure Android. The Samsung GALAXY S 4 Google Edition will be available in June in Google Play.
Samsung Galaxy S4 mini Leaked Photo
Photos of the heavily rumored but still unannounced Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini have emerged today offering prospective consumers a clear look at what appears to be Samsung’s smaller version of its current flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S4.
Samsung is heavily rumored to be coming out with two new Samsung Galaxy S4 devices this summer. The first, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Activ, a rugged Galaxy S4 model that is said to be dust and water resistant. The second, a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini that would follow in the footsteps of the previous Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini.
The latter of the two continues to leak out ahead of its arrival and today, we have our clearest shots yet of what appears to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.
Bulgarian language site SmartNews posted what appear to be photos of the smaller Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The photos, which offer a clear look at the device, line up with previously leaked photos of a device masquerading as the Galaxy S4 Mini. So it would appear that this device, with its plastic removable back and smaller display, is in fact Samsung’s upcoming small Galaxy S4.
The photos don’t offer much new in the way of features but those have seemingly already been determined. The device is thought to have a 4.3-inch qHD display, dual-core Exynos processor, 8MP camera, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and some of the Samsung Galaxy S4′s powerful TouchWiz software features. Exactly which ones remain to be seen but the new camera options are a safe bet.
The device has already been rumored to be coming to AT&T later on this year and with a launch rumored for the next few weeks, we could finally see it emerge after a lengthy bout of rumors.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will join the larger Galaxy S4 which hit shelves around the world last month and features a much larger 5-inch 1080p display.

RUMOURS: Xbox 720 release date and news
The Xbox 720 is the internet's name for Microsoft's new Xbox console.
While gossip surrounding this gaming machine has been churning around inside the rumour mill for a good few years now, we're only weeks away from learning some cold, hard facts.
We fully expect the Xbox 720 to launch in time for Christmas 2013. We know that Sony is launching the PS4 in at least one territory in time for 'Holiday 2013' and Microsoft will surely want to make sure it doesn't give away a head start.
Xbox 720 release date
Many industry experts predicted that we'd finally get some hard Xbox 720 info at GDC this year but Microsoft confirmed to TechRadar that this is definitely not the case.
Instead, we can look forward to the launch event in May this year and then a full roster of launch excitement at E3 in June.
All indications are that the next Xbox will arrive in time for Christmas 2013.
Microsoft briefly stated that the new Xbox is imminent in an interview with the Verge before swiftly backtracking and issuing a moderately embarrassing denial.
This is further backed up by a Microsoft job advert which confirms a new Xbox launch is imminent.
Further rumours of an Xbox 720 release date of pre-Christmas 2013 was backed up at the end of November 2012 by a Bloomberg report which cites sources at Microsoft and says we are likely to see the Xbox 720 make its debut at E3 2013.
But then! In January, a report from Game Informersuggested that we'd actually see Microsoft bust out an all-singing all-dancing event to launch the Xbox 720 around Game Developers Conference in March.
Why no E3 reveal? Because Microsoft wanted to make a splash away from the noise of the mega-show. Unfortunately, the report indicated that Sony had the same idea for the PS4...
Xbox 720 specs
If the Xbox 720 is to be as popular and last as long as the Xbox 360 – without the frankly appalling hardware failures which blighted its early days – it's going to need some reliable and powerful components.
From what we can tell, the Xbox 720 will come packing very similar specifications to the already-announced PS4. However, it is rumoured strongly that the Xbox 720 will come with reduced graphics potency.
The Xbox 720's CPU will be an AMD Jaguar-based CPU clocked at 1.6GHz - possibly very similar to that of the PS4, possibly identical in every way. That would certainly be a boost for game developers as it would make cross-platform development much easier than it is currently.
Graphics-wise, rumours suggest that the console will contain a revision of AMD's 7000 series graphics, which is based on its 28nm Graphics Core Next (GCN) Southern Islands tech.
The PS4 graphics are provided by a bespoke AMD chip from this family somewhere along the lines of a Radeon 7850 card with 18 GCN processing clusters, each with 64 cores.
It is thought that the Xbox 720 will have just 12 processing clusters which could well mean that Microsoft is using a version of the (rumoured/forthcoming) AMD Radeon 7790 chip. That means less power and cheaper bits, basically, but it's not all doom and gloom.
The PS4 comes packing 8GB of unified GDDR5 memory which combines system and graphics memory for super-fast gaming. But the Xbox 720 is rumoured to contain 8GB of general system memory and separate graphics memory.
That means that the Xbox 720 might not be as potent a gaming rig as the PS4, but will be more efficient at other tasks, making the Xbox better and faster outside of gaming environments.
That certainly tallies with some gaming devs who say the Xbox 720 is a lot less about gaming than the PS4 is.
Xbox 720 controller?
Many rumours suggest that the second version of Kinect will sit at the heart of the Xbox 720 experience, and we reckon it's a no brainer. A console built around motion detection has lots of promise and it seems highly likely that this is the direction Microsoft is taking, given the way it's currently pushing Kinect hardware and software.
However, you can be sure that the trusty control pad will remain a core component for hardcore gaming. The 360 control pad is wildly popular amongst both console and PC gamers so we can't see the design changing too radically, either.
Microsoft recently filed a patent relating to projecting augmented reality 3D images onto the walls of the room you're gaming in, in an effort to more fully immerse you in the experience.
The codename for this project is 'Fortaleza' and has Kinect at its heart. It is all supposed to work with wi-fi enabled Fortaleza glasses much like Google's Project Glass glasses. Who wouldn't want a Star Trek style holodeck in their front room?
Xbox 720: to Blu-ray or not to Blu-ray?
Will the Xbox 720 come with a Blu-ray drive or not? We've seen dozens of rumours pointing both ways and we're still no further to really finding out.
One rumour says that the Xbox 720 will not have a BD drive. Other rumours say it WILL arrive packing a Blu-ray drive.
Microsoft was, if you remember, a staunch member of the HD DVD Promotion Group and went so far as to launch an external HD DVD drive for the 360. So it represents a bit turn-around for Microsoft to embrace Blu-ray, but it also makes perfect sense.
Read speeds from DVDs are still faster than from Blu-ray discs, but BDs can hold vastly more data. A standard dual-layer BD can contain 50GB of data compared to the Xbox 360's dual-layer DVDs which contain between 8 and 9GB.
Many current Xbox 360 titles come on two or three discs, and with the size of Xbox 720 games destined to dwarf current titles, that extra capacity is a fundamental requirement.
A document that leaked in June 2012 indicates that the Xbox 720 will come packing 1080p 3D support, Blu-ray player and DVR functionality. This would indicate that Microsoft is trying to position the Xbox 720 as the single does-it-all set-top box in your living room.
Xbox 720 games
Games are well on their way to being finished for the new Xbox. Check out OXM's Xbox 720 games page to get all the latest.
Xbox 720 to be called Xbox?
Several leaks Microsoft documents have pointed to teh Xbox 720 being named simply Xbox.
Will Microsoft kill the second-hand games market?
There have been rumours cicrulating that the new Xbox console will feature a system aimed at preventing owners playing used games. That would mean no trading-in of old titles in order to fund the purchase of new ones - a move that would not be warmly received by gamers or highstreet store.
The rumours centre around the concept of the new Xbox demanding an always-on internet connection. That sounds like a horrifying idea to us – say it ain't so!
Xbox 720 price
That leaked document we mentioned earlier mentions a $299 (£190) price point which sounds gloriously ambitious to us. Expect the Xbox 720 price to be a bit more than that but assuming the PS4 launches around the same time, expect some competitive pricing.
Xbox Mini
Strong rumours are building that Microsoft is planning a double assault on the console market. The new Xbox will allegedly be joined in the cabinet by an Xbox MIni - a small, Apple TV-like device based on Windows 8, with the ability to stream Xbox 360 games from the cloud.
NEW NEXUS SAMSUNG GALAXY S4 WITH STOCK ANDROID
The best cellphone hardware has been crippled by manufacturer and carrier bloatware and skins, and Google's Nexus lineup has been hamstrung by a lack of LTE and somewhat inadequate specifications. But we've just gotten a look at the big surprise of Google's I/O keynote, a Samsung Galaxy S4 running stock Android, and suddenly we have visions of a world in which we don't have to choose between features and design, between timely updates and cutting-edge specs.
We tracked down Android VP Hugo Barra as he traipsed around the Moscone Center, and grilled him about his S4 while snapping a few pictures along the way. Details are still somewhat scant — as is what's sure to be an interesting backstory — but Barra said simply that "it's pretty awesome." Battery life is great, he told us, and the phone was fast and responsive as he toured us around the operating system. It's not a finished product, he said, having really only come together in the last week. (Barra knows his Android, by the way – he quickly rearranged his home screen icons to their default position before showing us the device.)
We liked a lot about the Galaxy S4 as it is, but now that Google has coupled Samsung's great camera and display with the purest form of Android (and LTE support), this Nexus phone might quickly find our pockets $649 lighter come June 26th.
Android 4.3 confirmed by Google developer website
In advance of its keynote presentation at Google I/O 2013, Android 4.3 has been confirmed in a search listing on Google's developer website. Mention of the next iteration of Google's mobile operating system has since been removed (it was live just long enough to be cached here), but it's a safe bet that we'll see the next version of Android at today's big event.
Android 4.3 is still largely a mystery, but the update is expected to support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the OpenGL for Embedded Systems 3.0 graphics specification. BLE would help conserve battery life on mobile devices that connect to peripherals like smartwatches and speakers, and OpenGL allows for advanced visual effects in games and graphics-intensive applications. We'll find out for sure when Google kicks off its keynote at 9AM PT / 12PM ET — stay tuned to our liveblog for the latest updates.
iPhone 6 specs, release date, price & features rumours
Our iPhone 6 release date, features and price rumours article is updated on a regular basis, so check back to keep up with the latest information. Updated on 14th May 2013 with new launch rumours.
There's a staggering amount of speculation and interest in Apple's next iPhone, although information would seem to suggest that we're going to have to wait until next year for the big changes. The current information seems to be that the next Apple smartphone will be an iPhone 5S, an update to the existing iPhone 5. All of the major changes are likely to come next year with the release of the iPhone 6.
Regardless of names, there's plenty to suggest that Apple needs something brand new, as the iPhone 5 wasn't met with the same rapturous applause of the previous releases, both because of the hardware and the problems with Apple Maps. With the competition getting a lot tougher, such as with the Samsung Galaxy S4, it could mean that Apple needs to up its game with a brand new phone.
iPHONE 6 RELEASE DATE
As always, it's hard to pin down an accurate release date, because of conflicting information being released. Initially, the confusion was over whether the next iPhone would be the 5S or 6. With that seemingly wrapped up, and the iPhone 5S coming next, a release this year for the iPhone 6 would appear to be too soon.
All of the current information points to a 2014 launch for the iPhone 6. Jeffries analyst Peter Misek, released a note to investors stating that he believed the iPhone 6 would be launched in June 2014. Depending on when you believe the iPhone 5S will be launched, the iPhone 6 date is roughly a year to nine months later.
Misek is reported as saying by the Financial Post that "the supply chain is primed for an iPhone 5S and pivoting to the iPhone 6 will take at least two or three quarters". That's about as good as the information gets, but it feels about right.
Some doubt was thrown on this, after an alleged Vodafone worked sent a shot of the company's internal systems to Stuff. The shot shows the words '4G iPhone 6', although the rest of the screen is blurred out.
So, that could either mean that the next iPhone will just be called iPhone 6, rather than iPhone 5S. Alternatively, as the iPhone 5S is technically the 6th iPhone (iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPhone 5), this could just be an internal reference on a stock system. As always, our general rule is that if a spy shot is badly blurred and short on detail, there's a high chance that it's incorrect.
iOS 7
One of the constants of the iPhone has been iOS 6, which as barely changed. In fact, with iOS 5, which was introduced with the iPhone 5, the OS barely changed, bar the introduction of the disastrous Apple Maps app.
With Android offering Widgets and Windows Mobile 8 a cleaner interface, it's fair to say that iOS is starting to look a bit dated. It stands to reason that the iPhone 6 will ship with iOS 7.
According to the latest rumours, iOS 7 is being developed by Jonathan Ive, who has a free-hand to completely redesign the aging OS. Some of the changes include making the OS cleaner and more modern. In particular, the skeuomorphic design will be replaced with a flat interface. Skeuomorphic design is where one object is designed to look like another; for example, the Notes app is designed to look like a real-world notebook.
Recent website stats show an increase in iOS 7 devices, typically being used in the area surrounding Apple's Cupertino offices. Apple typically tests new operating systems internally, before releasing to developers and then, a few months later, consumers. More iOS 7 devices means that Apple is probably getting ready to unveil its next-generation operating system, with the June Worldwider Developers Conference the most likely time. This will definitely mean that iOS 7 will be ready for the Autumn launch of the iPhone 5S; we'd bet that the iPhone 6 will get an iOS 7 update and new features for its launch in 2014.
iPHONE 6 SCREEN
Apple has been known for its high quality screens and it's going to be interesting to see what it can do with the iPhone 6, particularly as it looks like the iPhone 5S will have the same screen size and resolution as the iPhone 5.
According to Apple's definition of a Retina display, it's one where you can't see the individual pixels when used at a normal distance. In practice, by Apple's definition, it means upping the resolution on a Retina screen is pointless. That doesn't mean that Apple won't simply increase resolution to Full HD, in order to keep up with the competition, but moving to a larger screen to justify more resolution makes more sense.
Currently doing the rounds are the rumours that the iPhone 6 will have a 4.8in screen, which would make the phone similar in size to the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One. At this screen resolution, Apple could then move to a Full HD (1,920x1,080 resolution) or even go beyond.
While Apple has not previously made a large-screen phone, upping the screen size for the iPhone 6 makes a lot of sense. It means it can compete with the large-screen phones from other manufacturers and keep the iPhone 5S as a smaller alternative, giving iPhone users more choice.
Tim Cook has made a statement that would appear, on a first glance, to deny alarge-screen Apple iPhone 6. In Apple's most recent earnings call, Cook said:
"My view continues to be that the iPhone 5 has the absolute best display in the industry, and we always strive to create the very best display for our customers," said Cook. "Some customers value large screen size, others value other factors such as resolution, colour quality, white balance, brightness, reflectivity, screen longevity, power consumption, portability, compatibility with apps and many things.
"Our competitors had made some significant trade-offs in many of these areas in order to ship a larger display. We would not ship a larger display iPhone while these trade-offs exist."
What that statement says, to us, is that Apple won't ship a large-screen iPhone until it's managed to iron out all of the trade-offs. A thinner screen, to make a lighter phone, could well be the right way to go, then.
It's no wonder, then, that Apple may also be considering the screen technology that it uses, with a Sharp IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) screen top of the list. This new technology allows for screens that use less power and are considerably thinner. Rumours certainly picked up when the Sharp IGZO technology was demonstrated at CES 2013.
Sharp has also started manufacturing a super-sensitive touchscreen, which you can write on with a pencil and even operate with gloves on. Given Apple's relationship with Sharp, rumours have linked the new technology to the iPhone 6.
The new screen technology has eight times the sensitivity of existing models, is scratch resistant and is also thinner than existing screens. In other words, it would be hard to see why Apple wouldn't want this technology.
iPHONE 6 CAMERA
One of the most important part of any smartphone is the camera, with people generally preferring their phone over a compact camera. With the competition putting a lot of effort into the quality of their cameras, Apple has slightly fallen behind, with the iPhone 5's quality not matching that of the Samsung Galaxy S4 or HTC One.
Recent rumours, reported by MacRumours have stated that the iPhone 5S will get a 12-megapixel sensor, up from the 8-megapixel version on the iPhone 5. It stands to reason that the iPhone 6 will get the same, or better, sensor.
Upping the sensor resolution can introduce problems with noise, though, as there's less light per pixel. Apple will be keen to counteract problems like this, so a lens with a faster aperture would make sense. Currently the iPhone 5 has an f2.4 lens, but an f2.2 or f2.0 lens would mean better low-light photography.
iPHONE 6 STORAGE
In terms of storage, 64GB has been the top model for a couple of years, so we'd expect the top model to now be 128GB. This has been predicted by Misek, who believes that the iPhone will offer more storage than before. Whether or not this means a new top-end model or whether the entry-level 16GB model hasn't been confirmed, but we'd expect Apple to ditch the low-end and stick with its current pricing.
The rumours of a 128GB version would seem to be true, as we know that Apple now has that capacity, thanks to the recent launch of a 128GB iPad 4.
The new model doubled the maximum capacity of the previous high-end iPad (64GB). This update was said to be about increasing the variety of uses for the tablet, with Apple stating that more storage was good for large files for use in applications such as CAD and music production. It's also a more useful amount of storage for photos and videos.
The update to the iPad 4 was a completely new model with a new price, so we'd expect the same range of capacities and prices to be available from the iPad 5: 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. With Apple now using 128GB storage in its tablets, the question is whether or not it will provide the same range of capacities in its iPhone and iPad Mini range, too.
Given that the capacity is now available to Apple and that the smartphone market is even more competitive, we'd say that a 128GB version of the new phone is more than likely.
IPHONE 6 INDOOR MAPPING
Apple has recently bought indoor location tracking start-up WifiSLAM for $20m, fuelling a rumour that the iPhone 6 will have indoor mapping.
Apple has bought the company outright, so it's likely that its technology will be integrated directly into iOS products, rather than being available for third-party use.
While GPS is brilliant, it requires line-of-sight to satellites, meaning that it doesn't work accurately indoors. WifiSLAM's technology is designed to use alternative radio beacons (WiFi networks, RFID tags or specialist transmitters) to track people inside a building.
That may sound a little odd, but inside large buildings, such as museums, shopping centres and airports, the technology could be really useful.
It may be that the iPhone 6 gets this technology, so that it's in-door ready. However, as indoor mapping requires additional technology to work properly, it could be a while before a lot of buildings are supported.
NFC
One of the omissions from the iPhone 5 was NFC, but with the technology starting to appear in most new Android phones, we'd expect this in the in iPhone 6. With Apple pushing its Passbook App, for storing store cards, tickets and coupons, integrating this with NFC would make a lot of sense. An Apple phone with NFC would also help push the technology, as retailers are more likely to take it seriously with this handset on board.
iPHONE 6 SMART BEZEL
One of the things that attracts people to the iPhone is its ease of use and simplicity. However, iOS has barely changed since launch, so Apple could well introduce new ways to interact with its phones in order to stay ahead of the competition.
Patently Apple managed to dig up information on a new patent for a smart bezel. This will use a secondary display system, which could be embedded around the primary screen or even on the back of a device to provide new controls that light up when needed.
According to Patently Apple, "Apple intends to use the secondary display to introduce a new set of illuminated indicators that would be able to morph into various controls for work and play. Illuminated gaming and productivity controls could be built into the face-side of the bezel and/or selected back-side areas of iOS devices like the iPad."
That sounds pretty cool to us and could negate some of the negative point of iOS, such as having to scroll all the way to the top of an SMS thread to call the contact.
iPHONE 6 PROCESSOR
Judging what Apple will do with the processor is harder, but we'd expect an updated model in the iPhone 6. Currently the iPhone 5 has a dual-core Apple A6 processor, but a quad-core Apple A7, using ARM Cortex A15-based cores, sounds plausible to us.
It also seems more than likely that Apple will use ARM's big.LITTLE architecture. This allows a processor to have low-power cores that save on battery life, when not much CPU power is required, switching to full-power cores when more intensive tasks are required. Apple's always been hot on battery life, so this move would make sense, particularly as it's something that ARM's really pushing at the moment.
There are already quad-core phones from Apple's competitors and there's now theSamsung octa-core Exynos 5 chip. However, it's important to note that more cores doesn't been better performance and the iPhone 5 is still the smoothest and fastest smartphone that we've used, despite having 'only' two cores.
With that in mind, Apple will only use the hardware that its phone requires, rather than going all-out to get the most number of cores into a phone.
The latest information suggests that the Apple A7 processor is now being finished by the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing company. It appears as though, the final design will go in March, then move to risk production in May-June.
With that kind of schedule production of the new chip would happen in 2014, meaning that this processor will definitely be for the iPhone 6, while the iPhone 5S is more likely to get some kind of tweaked A6 processor. Recent rumours have suggested that the iPhone 6 process will be manufactured by Intel, rather than Samsung.
With Intel's core market of desktop and laptops contracting, the company is looking to expand its business by offering contract manufacturing. It makes a lot of sense, as Intel has the capital investment in global fabrication plants, which means it should be able to offer competitive prices. It also means that Apple can move away from Samsung, reducing its reliance on its main competitor.
This shouldn't be read as a move to Intel-based technology, though. Although Intel has a smartphone chip, it hasn't been used in a lot of phones, with manufacturers preferring ARM. ARM has the dual benefits of low power requirements, which are important on battery-powered devices, and the fact that it licenses its technology, so manufacturers can easily build their own custom chips.
iPHONE 6 CONCEPTS
Working off the discovered patents and leaked information, a lot of iPhone 6 concepts have been released. At the moment, the most interesting one is from InventHelp's Nickolay Lamm.
"I feel that the sales success of the iPhone 5 overlooks the fact that it was a pretty boring phone," Lamm said. "I looked at all of Apple’s recent patents and chose four which Apple may include in the iPhone 6 or later version. I then hired a 3D graphic designer to illustrate each of these patents so that the illustrations were as realistic as possible. I gave him very specific guidelines to follow."
The shot below shows a possible version of the phone, along with the Smart Bezel highlighting controls on the screen. The finished iPhone 6 will most likely look different, but it's interesting to see how Smart Bezel could work.
iPHONE 6 PRICE
Apple typically releases its new models at the same price as the old ones, and we can't see it introducing a more expensive phone into this tough market. If that holds out, then, and assuming that the 16GB model is dropped, we'd expect the 32GB model to cost £529, the 64GB model £599 and the 128GB model £699.
Test Flight on NVIDIA Shield and the Parrot AR Drone
The NVIDIA Shield might be a powerhouse of an Android-based gaming system, but that's really just the tip of the iceberg, right? If you're really looking to take your brain for a spin, you've got to try Shield with the Parrot AR Drone.
If somehow you've been able to avoid the AR Drone -- or its cousin, the Quadricopter -- picture this: A lightweight flying machine with four rotors, a few cameras and a Wifi Direct connection straight back to your smartphone. You control this miracle of modern mechanized flight using the controls on your phone or tablet.
But anyone who's used onscreen buttons knows that a physical controller is much better. So many more options Tactile feedback. With NVIDIA Shield, you get the best of both worlds. You get a physical controller, plus a 5-inch display so you can see what the AR Drone is seeing. It's a ridiculous amount of fun. And it being my first time with the AR Drone, I was horrible at it. So, after the break, we get a little help from an old friend in taking the AR Drone with NVIDIA Shield for a spin. Check it.
